In 1970, the singer bought a home in Beverly Hills at 144 Monovale Drive, which he shared with his wife and their daughter, Lisa Marie. The 1930s New England–style home was updated by the couple, who renovated the kitchen and second-floor bath, and added French doors to the living room. Most recently, the home sold for $20 million in 2020, with an adjoining parcel of land selling for an additional $9.3 million. Presley purchased a home in the Trousdale Estates section of Beverly Hills for $400,000 in 1967.
